Metal shavings shredder

Metal shaving shredders are specialized equipment designed for processing long, tangled metal shavings (shavings, curled shavings) generated during machine tool processing. They effectively solve the industry problems of entanglement, clogging, and feeding difficulties encountered by traditional crushers when handling such materials. They can break loose, messy, and bulky metal shavings into short, uniform fragments, creating optimal conditions for subsequent recycling, transportation, and smelting. The equipment adopts a low-speed, high-torque dual-shaft shearing design. Two cutter shafts equipped with interlocking blades rotate in opposite directions, completely decomposing tangled clumps of metal shavings through shearing, tearing, and pulling.

Anti-entanglement design: The unique cutter shaft structure and moving blade design actively hook and cut long shavings, fundamentally preventing material from entangled on the main shaft.

Anti-jamming handling: For small amounts of small parts or clumps of material that may be mixed in, the equipment is usually equipped with an automatic reverse or overload protection system to ensure continuous operation.

Uniform output: The shredded wood shavings are uniform in size (typically controllable between 10-50mm) and have a significantly increased density, making them suitable for direct baling or as high-quality furnace feed.
